Eudimorphodon is one of the earliest known pterosaur genera. It had a wingspan of about one metre and weighed roughly 10 kg. It had a long tail, just like the Jurassic genera Rhamphorhynchus and Dorygnathus (also represented in this exhibition).
Eudimorphodon had sharp fangs at the very front of the jaw. Behind them were 110 teeth, densely packed together.
This pterosaur is thought to have lived mainly on fish. Palaeontologists have found the remains of fish in stomach contents from fossil Eudimorphodon.
